Tara Bergin and Alan Turnbull:

The Disposable Museum Collective

The Disposable Museum Collective began in 2020 with the making of a number of small clay heads while sitting around the kitchen table, and has evolved into a series of monoprints with accompanying texts made on thin, almost throw-away paper. The title of the collective refers to the anti-monumental nature of the objects and reflects the current debates about colonialism and what gets placed upon a pedestal.
